Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-19
llmrelay is a general-purpose inference relay. You may use it for any lawful purpose, subject to the restrictions below and the acceptable use policies of the upstream model provider your request is routed to.
Prohibited use
You may not use the Service to:
- Generate content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or the target audience's jurisdiction.
- Produce child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or content that sexualizes minors. Zero tolerance — accounts terminated immediately, evidence preserved for law enforcement.
- Generate targeted harassment, threats of violence, or doxxing content against specific individuals.
- Produce material designed to defraud (phishing kits, impersonation of real people or organizations for deception, fake ID / document forgery).
- Generate weapons designs, malware, or instructions specifically intended to cause harm at scale.
- Bypass abuse-prevention systems on the Service (rate limit evasion, key sharing across accounts, automated signup).
- Resell raw API access as a competing relay service. (Building products on top of the API is fine — that's what it's for.)
Upstream provider policies
Each request routes to an upstream model. That request must also comply with the upstream provider's usage policy (e.g. Anthropic's UP, OpenAI's UP, Google's AI Terms). Upstream flagging of your account can result in llmrelay-side suspension.
Enforcement
We may:
- Warn and require you to correct the issue.
- Rate-limit or restrict specific endpoints on your account.
- Suspend the account pending review.
- Terminate the account for severe or repeated violations. Refunds of unused credit will follow the refund policy unless the violation involves fraud or CSAM.
